FAST - EASY PHNOM PENH NOODLE SOUP RECIPE

Ingredients for broth

  • Pork Ribs
  • Phnom Penh Soup Base
  • Tapioca Rice Noodle

Making the broth

  • Put Pork Ribs in a large pot and add enough water to cover them. Bring to boil, discard dirty water then simmer at medium flame for 1 hour.
  • After about 1 hour, add content of soup base. Continue simmer at medium flame until pork ribs are softened.
  • Adjust water to taste.

Preparing the garnishes

  • Fried garlic
  • Lime, hot sauce, hoisin sauce, bean sprouts, peppers, long chives leaves, sliced radish

Assembling the bowl

  • Tapioca Rice Noodle: Blanch Tapioca Rice Noodle while broth is simmering
  • Cooked and peeled shrimp
  • Thinly sliced onion
  • Broth: Pour hot broth into bowl
